What companies/classes are you currently in?

I am currently in the new Senior Hybrid company and Lauren’s hiphop company.

When did you start at Center Stage?

I started Center Stage in 2012.

Do you remember your first dance routine?

My first routine was Rhythm Nation with Sue Garahan. 

What was your Center Stage journey?

I started taking a jazz hiphop class in 2012. The next year I took my first tap and musical theater class and then the following year in 2014, I tried out for the Ocean tap kids company. My first dance in company was STOMP. After that, I joined the jazz company and became a Jr. Jazz Cat 1,2 and 3, a Wildcat, Jazz Cat Apprentice, Jazz Cat and now Senior Hybrid. 

Though you’ve taken plenty of classes at other Center Stage studios, your “home” studio is Ocean.  Can you describe how Ocean feels different than other studios?

Ocean has always felt like my second home. I have spent so many hours at the Ocean studio throughout my Center Stage journey and it will always have a special place in my heart because it was always there for me growing up. 

How has growing up near the shore been different than you think it would be in other parts of New Jersey?  Are you a beach baby?

Definitely! Some of my earliest memories were at the beach and even now I spend almost everyday there during the summer. I don’t think I could ever not live by the beach.

Why has it been worth all of the energy you’ve put into it and the sacrifices you’ve made?

Dance has taught me so many life lessons. It’s so rewarding and has brought me to some the of greatest people, it was worth all the sacrifices and energy.

Do you do other outside of school activities?

Yes, I am the student council president at my school, I am apart of NHS, the Italian club and helped start a new club called Unified Club to include disabled students in other parts of school activities. I also babysit and work at a physical therapy office over the summer.

What’s your favorite movie and why?

Probably Clueless or Legally Blonde but i also love anything Disney for Christmas.

Favorite food?

Either sushi or mac and cheese 

First celebrity crush?

I cant remember who my first celebrity crush is but my current celebrity crush is Tanner Buchanan.

TV Show you're embarrassed to admit you used to watch?

Probably cake boss, I was obsessed with that show I even met the guy who owned to bakery.

If you could have dinner with any historical figure, who would it be?

I would have dinner with Marie Curie because she was so smart and knew so much about medicine. 

What’s next?

Well I just finished sending in all my college applications!! so I don’t know exactly where i’m going but I will be going to college to major in exercise science or applied physiology.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Hopefully owning my own physical therapy practice and living somewhere by the beach.

Will you come back to visit Center Stage, or are you gone for good when you’re out the door?

I will definitely be back to visit everyone!! Center Stage is my family and I will miss everyone so much.
