What companies/classes are you currently in?

I’m currently a member of the Senior Cats company.

When did you start at Center Stage?

I started going to Center stage when I was in second grade  in 2010.

Do you remember your first dance routine?

Of course I remember my first dance routine! It was a jazz dance called Get on The Bus and I wore a bright yellow costume with two pigtails.

What was your Center Stage journey?

I started out being in cubs company. After junior cougars I moved away. But when I came back, I joined Center stage as a Junior CATS company member and continued until Senior CATS company - where I am now!

Why has it been worth all of the energy you’ve put into it and the sacrifices you’ve made?

Dancing at Center Stage has been worth all the sacrifices because it has become my second home. It’s also allowed me to meet lifelong friends and people who have made these past years something I will never forget. Center stage is a family and the sacrifices are all worth it when we join together on the stage and do what we all love, dance

Do you do other outside of school activities?

I don’t do much other outside of school activities but being a part of NHS in high school allowed me to spend some of my time volunteering, where I was able to make new friendships with other kids my age.

What’s your favorite movie and why?

I actually don’t have one favorite movie so this question always stumps me. I love Grease, Harry Potter, and Mean Girls is a classic.

What are you proud of yourself for?

I’m proud of myself for working hard and dedicating myself to things that really mattered to me these past years. Whether it was dance, school, or friendships I am proud to say I put my all into it and would not do anything differently.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be?

My superpower would be telekinesis.

The zombie apocalypse is coming, who are 3 people you want on your team?

Probably the cast of Walking Dead because they have had to deal with this issue before.

If they were making a movie of your life, who should play you?

I would want the young Mila Kunis to play me.

TV Show you're embarrassed to admit you used to watch?

Dance Moms — It’s a very addicting show!

If you could suddenly be the best in the world at something with a snap of your fingers, what would you like it to be?

I would like to be the best at cooking. That way I could make myself the most delicious meal and impress and feed others.

If you could have dinner with any historical figure, who would it be?  What would you talk about?  What would you serve them?

I’m not quite sure about this question either. All that comes to mind is Benjamin Franklin but we would probably not have much to talk about. I would serve him steak with mashed potatoes because it’s a classic meal I feel like he would enjoy.

What’s next?

I will be attending college soon and I hope to start my pre med journey and eventually become a dermatologist.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

In 10 years I see myself being a dermatologist with my own practice. I see myself owning a house and definitely having a French bulldog. I hope that dance will still be part of my life and i can use it to relax after a difficult day.

Will you come back to visit Center Stage, or are you gone for good when you’re out the door?

I will definitely be back at Center stage to visit because it’s been such an important part of my life and i don’t want to leave it behind. It will always be an important place to me and I’m sure being back will make it feel like I never left.
