My Center Stage Journey began when I was 3 and I took a ballet/ tap class with Jan until I was 4. When I turned 7 I started taking jazz classes with Sue and I continued until I was 10. At age 11 I tried out for Jr. cats and I got into the JR. Jazz Cat company. 2 years after being in the JR. company I auditioned for Mickey’s CATS company and I became a CAT Apprentice at age 14. My junior year of high school I became a senior cat when I was 16 years old. It’s now my last year as a senior Cat and I will miss being in this company because I’ve learned so much not only with dance but in life. I will always cherish the friends I’ve made, my teachers, and other staff members.
Why has it been worth all of the energy you’ve put in to it and the sacrifices you’ve made?
Dancing for all these years was worth it because it’s helped me grow so much as a person and a dancer. I’ve learned to stay on top of my school work with the long rehearsal hours we have. Dance has helped me handle criticism well and to try my best to fix my mistakes not only with dance but on a daily basis.

Outside from Center Stage I joined my school’s dance team and performed in front of basketball games, pep rallies, and other school performances. I’ve also spent time doing community service and many other school clubs.
